Phoenix · Open 24/7 · Since 1961
Asphalt cutting in Phoenix, day or night.
Utility trench cuts, parking lot patches, road cuts and pavement removal. Straight, clean saw cuts through asphalt, anywhere in Arizona, by a crew that has been cutting the Valley since 1961.
A patch only lasts as long as the edge it is poured against. Saw cutting asphalt instead of breaking it gives the repair a straight, square edge to key into, takes out only the pavement that has to go, and leaves the rest of the lot or street alone.
Concrete Coring Company has been cutting asphalt, block and concrete across Arizona since 1961. Dispatch picks up 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so a crew can be on a lot after closing or on a street before the morning traffic.
The asphalt work we cut
- Utility trench cuts for water, sewer, gas, electrical and telecom lines, two straight parallel cuts so the trench comes out clean.
- Parking lot patch perimeters around failed asphalt, potholes and cracked sections, so the patch has square edges.
- Road and street cuts, including night and weekend work so the lane opens again on time.
- Pavement removal prep: cutting asphalt into sections so it lifts out in pieces instead of tearing.
- Driveway and curb-line cuts where new concrete or a new drive meets the old pavement.
- Cores through asphalt, like the eleven we drilled at the Costco in Prescott.
How an asphalt job goes
- Call or send the job. Where it is, about how many feet, how thick if you know, and when you need it done.
- The lines are marked. You or your general contractor mark the cuts, and for a trench the utilities are marked through Arizona 811 first.
- We cut wet. Water on the blade keeps the dust down and the cut true. We vacuum the slurry when you ask us to.
- The lot or the lane opens again. Night and weekend work is normal for us, not an extra favor.

Asphalt cutting questions
How deep can you cut asphalt?
Deeper than almost any asphalt you will find. Most lots and streets are a few inches of asphalt over base, and our saws cut well past a foot. If there is old concrete under the asphalt, tell us and we cut through both.
Can you cut asphalt at night?
Yes. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Most parking lot and street cutting happens at night or on the weekend so the lot or the lane is open again in the morning.
Do you take the asphalt out too?
We can. Saw cutting is the job most people call us for, and we also break out and haul away when you want one crew to do the whole thing. Tell us when you call.
Who marks the cut lines and the utilities?
You or your general contractor mark where the cuts go, and the underground utilities should be marked through Arizona 811 before a trench cut. Tell us what is under the pavement and we cut to the marks.
How is asphalt cutting priced?
On the linear feet, the depth, where the job is and how we get to it, and whether it is day or night work. Send the footage and the thickness, or call 602-268-1439, and we will give you a straight number.
